Course 1 7B, 7G, 8G, 9G – approx. 2.5km
Course 2 8B, 10G – approx. 3km
Course 3 9B, 10B – approx. 4.5km
TEAM DETAILS
DIV 1 – 4 MAX PER TEAM (Best 3 placings count toward teams’ race)
DIV 2 – 3 MAX PER TEAM (Best 2 placings count towards teams’ race)
To be eligible for Aggregate shields, schools must have 3 runners (Div. 1) and 2
(Div. 2) completing the course in each grade group.
TEAM MANAGERS:
Are responsible for teams’ behaviour, getting students to races on time, acquainting students with the course, ensuring correct uniform, checking of changerooms, & supervision of students while spectating.
Please only send students who you are confident can run the prescribed distance. Remember this is an Inter-High. Students walking early into the race will be withdrawn.
CHANGEROOMS – Gymnasium – will be available but ensure no lingering; in and out promptly.
FIRST AID: NHSSA First Aid Official will be on site.
SPECTATORS:
Spectators will be permitted in specific viewing areas.
AWARDS
- Pennants will be awarded to the winning teams in each Divisional grade group.
- Aggregate shield will be presented to winning school in Div. 1 and 2
- Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be presented to the 1st – 3rd overall placegetters in each grade group.
