About NHSSA

NHSSA Sponsors

The NHSSA currently receives grants from the Department for Education, Children and Young People and the Division of Sport & Recreation.

We also value our relationships with schools, and community sport administrators and their support staff. These valued relationships allow the Association to function efficiently and effectively in providing quality school sports experiences for high school students throughout Northern Tasmania.

Our Sports

Our programs relate to both junior (Gr 7/8) and senior student (Gr 9/10) sporting rosters and Inter High carnivals, including Australian Rules Football, Netball, Soccer, Hockey, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Athletics, and Cross Country, during school time, after school and Saturday mornings. Whether you want to learn of our rosters or future Inter High School carnivals, we have it covered.
